Dragon Hide Shoes
This image was created in 1994 using Photorealistic RenderMan® software by Pixar (the same technology as later used in the motion picture "Jurassic Park"). While nothing to write home about today, this was groundbreaking in 1994.
The image, a co-creation between me and Jukka Aalto, was featured in the SIGGRAPH art show in 1995.
